100 Homes. 100 Days. 100 Ways to Serve.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we expanded our annual National Rebuilding Day volunteer event into 100 Days of Service — a series of service initiatives, social media outreach, program partner features, volunteer opportunities, and home improvement projects that served 100 families in Chicago and Cook County.

100 Days of Service was our way of continuing the mission of repairing homes and revitalizing communities while keeping COVID-19 safety protocols in place.

From ensuring food security, providing PPE and safety kits, providing wellness checks with resources and referrals, replacing windows, and conducting boiler and furnace tune-ups, we met our clients' needs in ways that kept them, our staff, and our volunteers, safe.
